June Dive Against Debris Counts

This June a break in the wet-season storms allowed us to conduct 5 Dive Against Debris events where we removed a total of 1,316 items weighing 127.1kg from our reef. 

We conducted 2 events on our central reef patch, on June 13th where we removed 17.5kg of trash and June 17th where we removed an additional 23.1kg. And 3 events on the deeper coral strip on June 22nd, removing 33.8kg, June 25th, removing 18.5kg, and June 30th, removing 34.2kg.

We plan to conduct more events on the deeper part of our reef in the following months, along with keeping our reef patches clean from any more plastic pollution.

The total trash we removed from our ocean in June was 127.1kg making our total for the 21 events we have ran so far 867.8kg!
