Ready to go pro?
We offer two divemaster internships at Aqua Dive.

Option 2: Our 8 week conservation Divemaster course. Fully submerge yourself into marine conservation and become a Eco Dive Leader. After gaining the knowledge to care for our underwater environment you will but your skills to work, leading coral restoration dives, megafauna and coral health monitoring and clean up events. You will work with our students, divers and coral restoration volunteers to gain valuable experience in coordinating and leading eco tours and delve deeper into coral restoration with our team and Marine Biologists from our partner NGO, Atoll Marine Centre. What do I learn on the PADI Divemaster course?
During your divemaster training you will learn all you need to know to work in recreational diving, from briefing and leading customers, dive planning and equipment maintenance, to helping assist instructors on courses and running ReActivates and Discover Scuba Dives.
You will fine-tune your diving skills, sharpen your rescue skills and expand your knowledge of the underwater environment. And that’s just the start.
What does an average week look like?
Each week we will have a mixture of boat diving, shore diving and classroom sessions. Not only will you become a qualified Divemaster here but you will also improve your dive skills and learn a lot about the scuba diving industry. Dives will be a mixture of dedicated Divemaster skill dives, assisting on courses, briefing and leading fun dives (under supervision on an instructor), participating in clean up dives and coral gardening. Saturdays is usually our day off so you can use this time to relax and explore the island, or join the staff and volunteers here for an excursion (weather permitting).
