Meet the team - Elizabeth

Elizabeth joined AQUA Dive and Water Sports on November 1st 2024 as our new Dive Instructor and Dive Centre Manager. Elizabeth fell in love with scuba diving at the Red Sea, while living in Dahab Egypt before moving to the Caribbean, Cozumel, Mexico, to undertake the PADI Divemaster Course. Since she loved assisting on courses, she inevitably undertook instructor training there too and has been working as a PADI instructor ever since.

For two years she was diving and teaching in Cozumel’s Marine Protected Area before she moved to the Maldives where she worked for a resort here in Lhaviyani Atoll. After a season in northern Sri Lanka she then joined us here in Naifaru, bringing her love of teaching and passion for conservation and restoration with her.

Elizabeth’s passion for ocean conservation stems from spending so much time in the sea & seeing first-hand the destruction caused by human activities. Coral reef restoration was something she grew interest in very early on. Elizabeth loves teaching conservation courses and even wrote a Sea Turtle Awareness distinctive specialty, but her favourite activity is clean up diving.
