500kg of Trash Removed from our Reef

Celebrating this landmark in our Dive Against Debris mission with our partners Atoll Marine Centre and Atoll Volunteers as well as all the wonderful volunteers who came along to help us clean the reefs, sort through piles of rubbish and survey and submit data to PADI AWARE.

It took 1/4 of a year, 13 of our weekly clean up dives and 20 wonderful participants to remove 7,500 pieces of trash weighing 500kg from our reef patch.

But we are not finished yet. We are committed to finishing clearing this patch along with the other debris found on our surrounding reefs. If you want to get involved then send us a message to join our weekly clean up!
