Uninhabited Island Beach Clean

Every month the Atoll Volunteers team heads out to a nearby uninhabited island for a beach clean and this week we joined them, visited the closest of our surrounding islands, Veyvah where our team of staff and volunteers did an amazing job cleaning up the debris on the beach and in the water before bringing the rubbish back to Naifaru to be properly disposed.

It is no secret that the Maldives has a huge waste problem, but by cleaning our oceans and our beaches we can all do our part in minimising the impact that humans are having on this environment.
