Installing Coral Trees

Today our Coral Restoration Volunteers installed a new nursery tree in our garden!

From making the tree, to installing it and attaching the first fragments, Henry & Josephine did an incredible job, and it’s now situated next to our nursery, growing corals which we will later out plant onto the reef, the next step in our coral restoration plans.

The floats on top of this tree were taken from the ghost net that we removed a few days ago - reusing what we can from these unfortunate events.

Additionally two new coral frames were moved to our restoration area, filling in more of this degraded part of our house reef.
