Vavooshi Festival

This week we had the pleasure of joining the Atoll Marine Centre team to Vavooshi Festival, hosted by Olive Ridley Project on Kendhikulhudhoo, the Mangrove Island!

Along with the AMC team and volunteers we attended educational events, visited stalls and learnt about the work of Olive Ridley Project, Manta Trust, Reefscapers and other NGO’s around the Maldives and we even got the chance to explore the beautiful mangroves before participating in the pledge parade with costumes made by the incredible volunteers.
